Manuel Bermudez

Manuel Bermudez

Director of Golf

Manuel Bermudez was born in Valencia, Venezuela, he started playing golf since he was 12 years old. He was able to join the national Jr. team of Venezuela at age 14 and transcended it until he was 22 years old.

He graduated from the University of Arkansas of Little Rock, an outstanding student and athlete. He decides to become a professional member of the Tour of the Americas and the Challenge Tour for 5 seasons in a row.

After years of experience as a professional he decides to share his knowledge and experience advising juniors in their development, starting in his native country.

Oscar Palacio

Oscar Palacio

Senior coach

Oscar is from Mexico. He was trained as a golf player in the youth ranks of AGVM (Asociación de Golf del Valle de México) in the Hacienda Golf Club. He played in the different tournaments of the FMG (Federación Méxicana de Golf) he became Interzone Champion in 1992 and international, represented Mexico in Cup of the Americas, Rolex, Optimist Junior World. Arizona State University (Sun Devils) Collegiate Golf Team Player; being champions of the NCAA in 1996.

Oscar has been a golf coach since 1998. Among some of the relevant programs within his technical training are Coach the Coach Hank Haney, TGI Golf and Vision54. For the relationships and work with college coaches in the United States, he has helped players to get golf scholarships and study in that country.

He has also been an FMG youth team coach in international tournaments in countries such as the US (Junior World, North Texas Intercollegiate Tournament, World Youth Team Challenge), China (Aaron Baddely International Junior Championship); as well as in national tournaments (several Interzonas, 1st Copa Mex Golf). He has also been collaborator-responsible for the development of the Collegiate / University Tour in the Valle de México.

Daniel Villanueva

Daniel Villanueva

Junior coach

Daniel Villanueva Sánchez is from Mexico, he started playing golf at the age of 6, he participated in the different circuits of competition within the national Golf tour until the youth stage. He is a graduate of the career at Contaduría and has participated in the organization and logistics of national golf tournaments, but has had a great focus on teaching golf to groups of young children who want to start in this sport both in competition and in recreational.

Martin Hoyos

Martin Hoyos

Senior coach, Sub Director of Golf

From Bogotá, Colombia, Martín began playing since the age of 12 representing Colombia in multiple international events before graduating from college.

He studied at Wichita State University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude, a member of the Dean’s List of Honor and Honor Roll of the Athletics Department. After graduating he became a professional and began working at the University as Segundo PRO before returning to Colombia to compete in the Local and Latin American Tour.

As a professional he obtained excellent results since 2007: winning the qualifier in Colombia and winning his first PRO in the same year. He won 8 professional tournaments and was a member of Tour de las Américas. After competing for more than 7 years he decides to pursue his other passion: TEACHING.
